US Airways Shopping Portal Offering Up To 100% Bonus Miles
US Airways is out with an interesting offer this morning. Through June 23, 2013 they are offering up to 100% bonus on miles earned through various US Airways partners. This is no Grand Slam promotion (the mother of all US Airways promotion) but frequent patrons of the Dividend Miles Storefront and their dining program will find decent value.
The key here is total number of transactions during the period. 1 transaction gets you a 25% bonus while 10 transactions will get you 100% bonus miles on all your purchases. A couple of important things to note for those looking to leverage this promotion:
1. It appears this is only on your first 12 transactions for the time period.
2. For Dividend Miles Storefront transactions, the minimum transaction to qualify is $50.
This reduces the ability to leverage this offer on smaller transactions, but based on the partner list there are still some reasonable bonuses to be earned.
If 1800Flowers was your thing, 50 miles per dollar is the highest I can recall being paid for flowers. And there are plenty of Dividend Miles StoreFront vendors that would mesh well with this offer.
If it wasn’t for the upcoming American/US Airways merger, I would be less interested in this. But the ability to double up on some regular earning that I would normally credit to the AAdvantage shopping mall is appealing, as those Dividend Miles will be AAdvantage miles soon enough.
