Call it the “blah-ification” by a thousand cuts. That’s the case with the American Airlines AAdvantage program over the past couple of years. While there have been occasional positive changes, the negative tweaks have me trying to think logically.

We were expecting revenue-based earning to be announced by American Airlines at some point. It looks like we are getting a lot more announcements today than just that.

There was a time when you didn’t have to worry much about exactly what type of fare you were buying. Knowing that you were in coach or first class was enough. Not anymore
