Get Another Free Year Of Hotel Discounts!

Bookmark my Black Friday weekend post for a list of deals I’m keeping an eye on.

Here’s a pretty cool update for faithful readers.  You may have seen my post yesterday about Club 1 Hotels offering a free year of membership to their hotel discount website.

If you signed up when I originally profiled Club 1, your free year may be coming to an end.  Good news!  Club 1 says folks who signed up through my original offer can extend their free membership another year through this latest offer.  That also means you should be able to get the $25 discount off a future hotel booking of $250 or more.

Note, I don’t receive any commission at all if you sign up for this Club 1 offer.  But, since it’s free (and the lifetime membership may be a good value for some readers) I think it’s a win for travelers.

And, if you’re signed up for Club 1 and my mailing list when I draw the winner on Monday, you could have $250 to spend on an upcoming hotel stay!

That’s Cool In My Book!

  1. Is there a special procedure for extending one’s membership using your offer or does one need to (first) let one’s current membership lapse?

    1. Jack, I haven’t personally. I value elite status so tend to shy way unless I can save a bundle on a specific stay. But, I do know folks who have saved a bunch. They’re wholesale rates. That’s why they’re so low.

  2. I tried to extend mine (not currently expired) by signing up through the link but it won’t let me create a new account with the same email address. Couldn’t find any obvious way to continue or another way to extend.
