Cheap Flights To Phoenix And Alaska, And Someone Let Paris Hilton Out Of The Elevator
The Best of the Rest is my effort to summarize all the travel/miles & points stories that interested me on a daily basis but didn’t have time to write about in length. On a daily basis, I try to keep track of roughly 100 different blogs (try being the operative word) that have interesting things for you and I to learn from. This is your shortcut to find out what’s going on in the travel world without having to read dozens of travel blogs to get all the best info.
Here’s what I’m reading about today:
Cheap Flight(s) of The Day: Boston-Phoenix for under $250 as things get colder. Delta has Alaska on sale for $400. I would have expected these fares to have dipped lower than that by now. Maybe the airlines have finally figured out how to control capacity on the Alaska routes.
If you’re into manufactured spending (that is, the task of generating lots of points for not much money), this is what you’ve been waiting for.
A great write-up on the history of the shuttle business in the Northeast. I mean, who didn’t love Trump Air? I remember flying New York Air as a kid. You would walk down the jet bridge and grab a red paper shopping bag. It had a bagel and an apple. There might have been a cookie or something else as well. The bagels were actually quite good. I remember trying to trade my apple for another bagel!
The best SPG hotels by region.
When this happens to your plane, you know it’s time to get off. Quickly!
Lingerie in a box, but no bonus miles. Sigh…..
Paris Hilton trapped in an elevator. Unfortunately, I think someone let her out.
