Groupon has boosted the miles they’re offering through the American Airlines AAdvantageeShopping portal and the United Airlines Mileage Plus shopping portal.  For the rest of October, you’ll earn 6 miles per dollar spent with Groupon instead of the normal 3.

I think I’ve bought exactly one Groupon in my lifetime, though I wouldn’t swear by it.  But, it seems like every time I bring it up on the blog it’s quite popular with folks.  So, if you’re looking for Christmas gifts on Groupon, October seems like a great time to double your earning power.  And, the miles make a good gift to…yourself.
