American Airlines is giving away 560,000 AAdvantage miles to celebrate the launch of their 787. You have to be on Instagram to enter. In case you missed it, here’s my ride on the inaugural AA 787 flight a few weeks ago.

My personal preference for this type of card is still Chase Sapphire Preferred, though you should look at the transfer partners for both and see which one gives you the most value.
Transaero is going to start flying the A380 to New York later this year, according to One Mile at a Time. That signals two things I have no desire to do. Visit Russia under the current regime and fly on a plane with the most seats of any A380 in the sky (652, yikes!). Hope they have a lot of bathrooms.
