And The Winners Are…..

Thanks to everyone who decided to follow me through WordPress, Twitter and Facebook and for the over 1,000 comments during the time of the contest.  Heck, some of those comments were even logical.  🙂

I also wanted to take a moment and let everyone know I have 3 more contests coming up.  Two will be for various swag I collected and some drink vouchers and the 3rd will be more points/miles, though I haven’t decided what to give away yet.  So, stay tuned…

Contest #1 had a total of 1324 entries between people following the blog, Twitter and Facebook.  I organized them in that order and then used random.org to pick the winner:

That makes Josh Graybill who liked my Facebook page winner #1.  He won his choice of the 25,000 United MileagePlus miles/Hyatt Gold Passportpoints or a free ticket on American Airlines.

Now, for contest #2.  I used random.org again, but somehow managed to save the same screenshot twice (the one above) as opposed to the unique one for the second drawing.   So, no screenshot from random.org, but the following comment by PH was the winner:

AA’s business has improved so much that they think they’re going to be able to pay off all of their creditors whose debts are senior to equity? (I.e., every last creditor?) I’ll believe it when I see it.

PH is the winner of “sloppy seconds”, although neither prize is a bad second place in my opinion.
