Is one of my favorite Hyatt benefits enjoying a renaissance, or is this just a bug?
Starwood Preferred Guest appears to be testing the waters on offering customers discounts for booking through their website. After Hyatt’s category change quasi-announcement (a very mild one, IMO), Hyatt reached out to me today to inform me of some upcoming announcements for 2015. I’m already enjoying some of Hyatt’s new benefits that they rolled out this year. I wrote about the My Elite Rate last week and subsequently save myself almost $100 on a reservation this week. The question arose from reader TTF about whether you could search rates like AAA and the My Elite Rate at the same time.
