February 28th is the last day to redeem Hyatt Diamond suite upgrades from 2013. These awards are valid for a free upgrade to a suite for up to a 7-night stay and they are confirmable at booking. They’re one of the best benefits of hotel elite status.
Delta made some big changes to their program this morning, but they’re not done. On the negative side, starting in 2015 you’ll accrue miles based on how much you spend on your ticket, not how far you travel. On the positive side, you’ll be able to redeem one-way awards.
