There are two decent fares to Spain from the West Coast. San Francisco to Alicante and San Francisco to Madrid, both on Iberia for about $500. These aren’t the lowest fares I’ve seen, especially with Norwegian entering the market in Oakland. If you’re looking to earn elite-qualifying miles, these aren’t a bad option..
