Through November 18th, Southwest is offering double points on all paid flights for select members.
Though it doesn’t cover the holiday travel season this can be a lucrative offer for business travelers. It’s the first time I’m targeted for this type of offer, so I’m wondering if it’s in response to the Alaska Airlines/Virgin America merger, with Southwest trying to grab as many customers and lock them in now. This promotion won’t help you earn elite status quicker but it will help you amass points twice as quickly for your next free flight.
