We’ve got another new episode this week! I tracked down Zach Honig, editor-at-large with The Points Guy. Zach traveled a staggering 333,000 miles last year. Hear what 2018 is looking like for Zach and what he thinks is cool and interesting in the world of travel. And, Emily McNutt joins us again to talk Norwegian air and their A380!
The Best of the Rest is my effort to summarize all the travel/miles and points stories that interested me on a daily basis but didn’t have time to write about in length. Culled from over 100 blogs/authors I follow, some are passed along without comment, while I add my analysis to others. This is your shortcut to find out what’s going on in the travel world without having to read dozens of travel blogs to get all the best info.
I’ve had a number of experiences I never thought would happen in my life. Some are more important than others (meeting a great woman and having kids). Ranked pretty closely behind those are things like being able to ride in the cockpit of a Boeing 787 Dreamliner during take-off. Talk about awesome!
What a once-in-a-lifetime experience! I was lucky to be a part of a humanitarian aid flight that delivered badly needed aid to Yemeni refugees in both Djibouti and Yemen. Norwegian Air has chartered humanitarian flights for UNICEF in the past. But, this was the first 787 filled with relief.
