Call it the “blah-ification” by a thousand cuts. That’s the case with the American Airlines AAdvantage program over the past couple of years. While there have been occasional positive changes, the negative tweaks have me trying to think logically.

We were expecting revenue-based earning to be announced by American Airlines at some point. It looks like we are getting a lot more announcements today than just that.
Travel patterns grow/evolve over time. Especially so since I got married and had two kids. Where Southwest didn’t fit neatly into our travel patterns years ago, it’s become more relevant lately.
