Marriott has changed course and announced that they will offer higher lifetime status to Starwood Preferred Guest lifetime Platinum members who hit a certain night threshold by the end of 2018.

Interesting and beneficial news from Hyatt this morning. They appear to be retroactively crediting award nights for members from 2017 and counting those towards elite status and other milestones.

Hilton Honors loyalty members should be pleased with changes announced today. There’s lots to digest. While it’s mostly good, it’s probably not as good as advertised. But, it’s not as bad as I might have expected.
