Hyatt Credit Card Members Now Earn Bonus Points At SLH Properties

Hyatt has been on a bit of a growth tear over the past 12 months.  The biggest part of that growth has been the integration of Small Luxury Hotels of the World into World of Hyatt.  They started this in late 2018 and have now expanded the partnership to over 200 hotels.  With that and other additions, such as Thompson, Joie de Vivre and Alila hotels, Hyatt now has over 1,000 hotels where you can earn and redeem points.

Hyatt Credit Card Bonus Points At SLH Properties

Effective immediately, both Hyatt credit cards earn bonus points when staying at participating Small Luxury Hotels of the World.  It’s important to note this isn’t all SLH hotels.  There’s a full list of participating SLH hotels on Hyatt’s website.

Folks who have the Hyatt credit card and the World of Hyatt credit card both earn bonus points at Hyatt hotels currently.  However, that hadn’t been put in place for SLH properties yet.  Now, they’ve rolled that out:

The Final Two Pennies

There’s no registration required for these bonus points, this is the new normal.  It’s good to see both Hyatt credit cards align bonus earning with the Small Luxury Hotels of the World participating properties.  I envision that I’m more likely to redeem points when staying at SLH hotels rather than paying cash.  But, I like the idea of earning points for all my meals (and when my wife heads to the spa!).  This combines with the current promotion where Hyatt cardmembers get 10% of their points rebated for pretty much all redemptions this summer.
