Hyatt Brings Back One Of My Favorite Promotions, 10% Back On All Point Redemptions!

a cell phone and a magazine

Hyatt is running one of my favorite promos again this summer. They’ve been pretty consistent with this one.  It’s easy, and rewarding.  All you need is to hold either of the two Hyatt credit cards and  register as well.  Do that now.  It’s that simple to earn 10% back on all Point redemptions.

Hyatt will give all co-branded credit cardholders a 10% rebate on pretty much all points you redeem between July 1st and September 2nd, 2019.  That’s:

  • Award rooms
  • Points & cash reservations
  • Room upgrades
  • Dining and spa reservations
  • Exhale classes
  • FIND experiences.

Let’s just say you book a week away this summer for a family vacation and redeem 100,000 points.  Hyatt will rebate you 10,000 points.  All for holding onto their credit card.  And, since many travelers take vacations in the summer, Hyatt is rewarding us at a time when they know we’re likely to take them up on that.

There are no properties excluded.  The promotion doesn’t start rewarding you on your second stay.  It doesn’t only reward you for staying on the 3rd Sunday of the month.  It’s a straightforward thank you, one I’ll enjoy taking part in.

The Bottom Line

My favorite part of this promotion is that you don’t have to do anything else but register, even if you have existing bookings.  Unlike many other promotions, you don’t have to jump through hoops.  There’s no need to cancel and rebook your reservations.

Don’t forget to register now.

Too often I hear stories of someone who forgot to register for a promotion and lose out on points later.  Don’t be that person.

I love choice, flexibility.  Too many hotel promotions try to encourage a change in behavior.  I get it.  This is a business, and they’re trying to get us to do things that make them money.  I’d just prefer a reward for loyalty.  Hyatt hits the nail on the head.
