In the dead of night, Marriott announced a whole bunch of changes that both SPG and Marriott loyalty members are going to be awful happy about.

We’ve been waiting for information about status matches, transfer ratios between the two programs and when we’ll be able to spend those hard-earned points in both programs. There are still some details to work out, but we have a lot more answers today.
