    Finding a restaurant off the beaten path is, for some, like finding a nugget of gold. That’s what Enoteca Cul de Sac was for us when we discovered it ten years ago. Though it’s popularity has risen, it’s still approachable and if you’re lucky, you should be able to walk up and grab a table to enjoy a glass of wine with some cheese to end a day of sightseeing in Rome.

    Osteria 44 was a short walk from the St. Regis Rome on a quiet side street. We found a welcoming host named Sergio who spoke impeccable English. From there, we found an imaginative meal and great wine selections.
