Even if you don’t have the Bilt card you can earn free points by answering trivia questions and playing Rent Free on the Bilt App.

For folks who hold the credit card, this is your reminder that you can earn double points on all categories (except rent) on the first day of every month (capped at 10,000 bonus points per month).  That means you’ll earn:

  • 6 points per dollar on dining
  • 4 points per dollar on travel
  • 2 points per dollar on everything else (except rent)

The Final Two Pennies

Bilt continues to offer outsized value to their members.  From incredible transfer bonuses to programs like Bilt Dining and now Bilt Experiences, you have a variety of exciting ways to engage with the program.  Capital One has tried to get deeper into experiences with MLB tickets and Marriott has tried to keep SPG’s great track record going on special moments at sporting events, concerts and festivals.  But, it’s been a long time since someone offered a truly unique and exciting option that involved redeeming points for experiences.

Rent Day is a great time to bulk up your balance of Bilt Rewards for the next great promotion.  And, don’t forget about earning on Lyft rides.  Bottom line, there are plenty of opportunities to earn points, and that’s before you consider the Bilt Rewards Mastercard.  You should think about the card.  It offers no annual fee and the chance to accelerate your progress to elite status.  With the recent 150% transfer bonus and now early access to sporting events, Bilt is showing why elite status matters.
