The JetBlue $20 Flight Deal Yesterday Was A Debacle! I Must Be Crazy, I’ll Try Again

I got pretty excited when the JetBlue $20 flight deal started making the rounds yesterday.  Living near Washington-Dulles, I don’t have a ton of JetBlue options.  But, I think giveaways like this are great for a lot of my readers.

If you don’t have the sort of job that allows you to earn tons of points and miles, a virtually free airline ticket is kind of a big deal.  And, then, it turned into, ahem, a #*$# show.  My friend Jen from Deals We Like said it best.  She was refreshing her browser like crazy while she was changing her infant’s diaper.  That’s commitment.  And, she got nothing.

I had a handful of browsers open, with illusions of grabbing more than one game.  Not only did I get a big bucket of nothing, I still haven’t talked to a single person that got one.  There were 200 available, but they disappeared in a heartbeat.

Yup.  I’ll Do It Again (And, Why That’s A Good Thing).

JetBlue is supposed to be releasing some more inventory on Monday, December 18th at 3pm EST.  Why is that good for you?  Well, even if you’re not crazy enough to hit refresh 4 million times to try to win a lottery ticket, I’ll be doing it.  And, if I happen to get the chance to purchase one, I’ll be giving it away on the blog.  Stay tuned!
