Hilton’s New “2K Every Day” Promo Is Easy To Take Advantage Of
Hilton is out with their first new promotion of 2017. It’s very straight forward. It’s called “2K Every Day” and will earn you…..2,000 points for each night you stay on a paid rate.
One Mile at a Time has more details, but the important bits you need to know are:
- You can earn 2,000 Hilton HHonors points per night at all Hilton hotels worldwide.
- The promotion starts February 1 and runs through April 30, 2017.
- There is no cap on the amount of points you can earn.
I don’t spend a ton of time focusing on the Hilton HHonors program. I may be if they really did give me Diamond status again without qualifying like some other folks have reported. Since I don’t follow the program closely, I don’t have firsthand recent knowledge on the value of redemptions.
Ben says he values a Hilton HHonors point at about .4 cents each. If you asked me with a gun to my head, I probably would have said half a cent. I’d trust Ben’s estimate of .4 cents, which means you’re getting roughly $8 in value for every night you stay during the promotion period.
The Final Two Pennies
I love that all properties are participating. That’s always one of my big annoyances with hotel promotions. I’m not blown away by the promo but I think it’s obviously easy to understand and capitalize on. I may have a few Hilton stays in the first quarter, so I’ll appreciate the 2,000 bonus points per night.
As with all hotel promotions, you should register as soon as you’re able to. It’s free, and you never know when your plans will change. Registration isn’t open yet, but I assume it will be soon.
I wouldn’t switch hotels to take advantage of this promotion, but it’s probably more lucrative than I would expect given the current state of hotel promotions.
Happy earning!

Is this 2000 points on top of the base points that you would typically earn?
Skyler, the 2000 points is on top of any base points you earn.
I love free points, but Hilton has devalued their program so “bigly” that their points are pesos, while everyone else is dealing with dollars.
On the other hand, I completely agree with you… always sign up for the free promos because you never know when your plans will change.
