Why now is a great time to visit Washington DC.  I’ve lived in the DC area for almost 20 years now (jeebus, I’m old).  While it’s not an aspirational place to live with unpredictable/brutal traffic and cranky weather, it is a great city to visit, offering something for just about everyone (except a competitive football team).

In case you missed it, I wrote about the brutal pounding mega cruise ship Anthem of the Seas took earlier this week.  While we cruise from time to time, fellow blogger Marshall Jackson cruises a ton and has offered his perspective on the incident.

Domestic airfare dips to its lowest level since 2010.  Not terribly surprising when you look at prices at the gas pump.  Time to travel!

A good way to earn miles and meet minimum spending requirements on credit cards is going away.
