JetBlue is also offering double points on all transcon flights for the next two months.  I don’t collect TrueBlue points, but that’s a pretty solid value for a revenue-based program.

Why American Airlines believes it was right to cancel those $0 China fares if the reservation was “held” but not ticketed.  I think it’s a compelling argument.  Matthew does a bunch of research to arrive at the ultimate conclusion.

This is entirely different from the airline’s obligation to honor such fares when the ticket is already issued, which the DOT is pretty clear on, except when it’s not clear.

And, this post shows that in our hobby, trying for the impossible is sometimes to your benefit, as Seth gets a held ticket reinstated for this awesome fare.

Australia is one of the toughest places to get to using miles.  The Points Guy has a great overview on how to conquer this destination with miles.

Just to show that I’m not a complete social media troglodyte, has anyone played with Meerkat?  And, to further reinforce the fact that I live under a rock, I was at SXSW for a week, where this was apparently the “big news”.  I didn’t find out about it until someone else told me after I got home.

Milepoint has released a new version of their app to replace the one that fell over a few weeks ago.  I’m a heavy user of the app to stay abreast of all the things I’m interested in, so I’m happy to see its return!
