United Airlines Teases, Then Disappoints With New Targeted Promo

United Airlines sent me a postcard in the mail offering triple miles for flights booked between now and the end of November.  I was excited for all of about 90 seconds.  It may not be Premium Qualifying Miles, but triple miles is pretty rich.  Then, I read the T&C and the excitement waned quickly.  If you buy pricey tickets, you still may find some value in this:

Offer is valid on paid roundtrips booked in F, A, J, C, D, Z, P, Y, B, M, and E fare classes.

I almost had a reason to book some United tickets…..
