Cast Your Vote For Your Favorite Airlines And Hotel Chains. Freddie Award Voting is Open!
There are plenty of awards that recognize the best in travel but there’s only one that’s done so for most of the last two decades that relies only on the votes of travelers from around the world. I’ve been privileged enough to be involved with organizing the Freddie Awards for the last few years and it’s time to cast your vote for this year’s winners!
If you’re not aware of the Freddie Awards, you can find a brief history of them here. They were started by Randy Petersen back in the late 80s as a means to determine who was the best in airline and hotel loyalty. They’ve now morphed into a worldwide effort with over 3 million folks casting a ballot last year for their favorite programs.
The inners aren’t decided by a panel, there are no special formulas. It’s just your voice. Each of us gets to cast our vote for our favorite programs. Maybe you’re a big fan of American Airlines and Hyatt hotels like I am. Or maybe you’re more of a United Airlines (okay, maybe not) and Starwood Preferred Guest.
It only takes a few minutes to vote and it’s easy to do from a computer, tablet or smartphone. As well as being able to vote in English, voting is available in Spanish, French, German, Arabic, Chinese and Japanese.
