Wrapping Up Frequent Traveler University in Tampa
It’s been well over a decade since I started collecting miles and points. It’s been over two decades that I’ve been obsessed with interested in travel. Back in the day when I first started learning about miles and points, bulletin boards were the only way I could find information. Fast forward a decade or so, and there are now events like Frequent Traveler University. These are gatherings of hundreds of travel enthusiasts, some advanced and some beginner, getting together for the weekend to learn new ways to travel to aspirational places for cheap or free.
I spent the weekend interacting with fellow frequent travelers, teaching and learning along the way. I had three presentations over the weekend that required slides to back up my talks. I’ve had a bunch of requests to post my presentations online over the course of the weekend.
Two of those talks (Getting Started with Miles and Points as well as Family Travel Made Easy) were with Summer who writes the Mommy Points blog, so I borrowed the links she already put up for those presentations and included my own for my talk on the American Airlines AAdvantage program.
Let me know if you have any questions!
