National One Two Free Promo: Registration Open Today

Registration is open for the 2013 National Car Rental One Two Free Promo.

This remains one of the most popular car rental promotions annually.

It’s really straight forward and easy to earn free rentals.

For every two car rentals between today and January 31, 2014, you’ll earn a free rental day.  And, there are other ways to maximize this promo.

If you rent more expensive cars or have longer rentals, 600 points earned will give you a free rental day as well.

You can pick up 25 bonus points for downloading their mobile app and 75 points per rental you make with their mobile app.  That means if you had 9 rentals you’d actually earn 10 free days when you add in an extra day earned for the 600+ points for using the mobile app.

There’s also a refer-a-friend element.  Each friend you refer who enrolls and has one rental earns you 300 points.  That means 2 friends is another free day.

The math is pretty easy to pile up free rental days and you’ll have until June 16, 2014 to use up your free days.

I prefer to stockpile points for when I want to redeem but the redemption period on this promo is sufficiently long that I’d find it hard to believe most people wouldn’t have a vacation sometime during the promo period.  Between Thanksgiving, Christmas (or your choice of end-of-the-year holidays) and spring break, there are a lot of typical vacation times during the promo period.

This is also a good time to close by reminding you that registration for promos like this one is free and quick.  Even if you don’t normally rent from National, you never know when plans might change.  So, register today before you forget.
