US Airways Flight Attendants Reject New Contract. Again.

7 years later, they still can’t agree.  Kinda like they didn’t last time.

US Airways flight attendants rejected a contract that would have given them immediate 13% salary increase.  That means 7 years after the merger between US Airways and America West, the two flight attendant groups are still not integrated.  No question this continues to cause problems for US Airways.

And yet, for some reason the union leaders at American Airlines (most specifically the pilots) believe they’ll get a better deal by merging with US Airways.
