If you’re a procrastinator, these cheap flights to the Caribbean might have come along at the perfect time. We’ve seen a ton of cheap flights to all over Europe. The Caribbean is a place that doesn’t usually go on sale as often, especially during spring break. The dates may or may not work for you, but the fares are definitely reasonable.
Airfare Spot has fares just over $300 to Costa Rica. There are a couple of great resorts down that way, including the Andaz Papagayo. I’ve had a few near misses with trips to Costa Rica. It’s definitely a place I want our family to enjoy.
Secret Flying reports on a $287 fare from New York to Antigua. I haven’t been to Antigua but I’ve heard really good things from a few friends and family members. Anytime you can get to the Caribbean for under $300 it’s a good price.
BONUS: $440 fares to Venice are a nice treat. Those aren’t the lowest fares I’ve ever seen. That fare does come with a checked bag and a carry-on bag, though. That gets it closer to some of the super cheap fares out there that don’t include a baggage allowance.
Venice is absolutely one of our favorite cities. The Danieli is one of those hotels that will always hold a special place in our hearts. From the skeleton keys for the rooms to the breakfast overlooking the canal on the rooftop, it’s a special place. Getting lost in Venice was one of those memories our family will never lose track of.
The Final Two Pennies
Cheap Europe trips have been the flavor of the month for a while now. It’s nice to see a few good fares for folks looking to escape to the Caribbean. It’s worth noting that the Zika Virus is still an issue in the Caribbean.
