Up To 150% Transfer Bonus to Air Canada Aeroplan-One Day Only

Bilt is featuring another incredible transfer bonus for Rent Day this month. On February 1st, Bilt Rewards members will be able to transfer to Air Canada’s Aeroplan program and earn up to a 150% transfer bonus.
Bilt roared out of the gates this year with one of the best transfer bonus offers I’ve ever seen. Multiple partners offered 150% transfer bonuses. I couldn’t resist and shipped my entire Bilt Rewards balance to Air France/KLM Flying Blue. That was even better than the FlyingBlue 100% transfer bonus last year. I thought it was pretty incredible at the time but Bilt proved me wrong. They featured a Virgin Atlantic 150% transfer bonus that made me start thinking differently about which credit cards I use for spending.
The TLDR is that if you have the Bilt Mastercard and you can take advantage of their bonus categories (travel and dining), strategic timing to maximize these transfer bonuses means earning you’re really earning 7.5 miles per dollar on dining instead of 3. That’s pretty much unbeatable.
With this Aeroplan transfer bonus, you can reach dozens of airlines that Aeroplan has partnerships with. The breadth of partnerships means there are so many ways to get to so many incredible destinations.
On top of that, Air Canada has some very well-positioned hubs in Toronto and Vancouver that act as low-friction gateways to the world. If you live in the Midwest or further West and are trying to get to Europe, you’re not adding time to your journey to connect in Toronto versus connecting in Chicago. Air Canada’s business class products are quite good. I’d put them up against American, Delta or United and I’d be pretty confident they’d come out ahead on quality and service.
All The Rest Of Rent Day
Bilt also has a number of offers on the first of each month to earn points. Most of them only require you to sign-up for a free Bilt Rewards membership. There are trivia questions in the Bilt app where you can earn free points as well as their game show-style contest, Rent Free where you can earn one month’s free rent.
For folks who hold the credit card, this is your reminder that you can earn double points on all categories (except rent) on the first day of every month (capped at 10,000 bonus points per month). That means you’ll earn:
- 6 points per dollar on dining
- 4 points per dollar on travel
- 2 points per dollar on everything else (except rent)
You can also grab a free Soulcycle class on February 1st at more than 50 Soulcycle studios across the US. Reservations are available in the Bilt app.
Valentine’s Day Dinner Reservations
Bilt is also holding reservations at key restaurants in big cities such as New York, Boston and DC. These are available for Bilt Rewards members to book starting on February 1st and you can use points or cash to book these prix-fix meal opportunities.
The Final Two Pennies
Bilt Rewards has changed the way I think about credit card spending. As long as 150% transfer bonuses continue I really want to make sure I have top-tier status. That means I know I can reliably get more value transferring my points that I earn on the Bilt Mastercard than on any other card in my wallet. Until the landscape changes, I’m going to rely on these sizable transfer bonuses as a strategy to help maximize my earning on a monthly basis.
