Starting Today: 7 Days Worth Of 6X On Dining, 4X on Travel And 2X On Virtually Everything Else

I earn affiliate credit if you sign up for the Bilt Rewards Mastercard using links in this story.

If you’re not going to sign-up for a really lucrative, no annual fee card this week, when are you?  For the next seven days you can earn double points on virtually all charges on the Bilt Rewards Mastercard, and that’s even if you procrastinated until today to apply for the card.  That’s:

  • 6 points per dollar on all dining charges (normally 3X)
  • 4 points per dollar on all travel charges (normally 2X)
  • 2 points per dollar on everything else other than rent (normally 1X)

It starts today (Friday, November 25th) and goes through Thursday, December 1st.  And, you can earn a lot of points.  Bilt is capping the offer at 50,000 bonus points earned.  That means a $100 dining charge will only count as 300 extra points towards your 50,000 point cap.

Bilt has worked with Wells Fargo, the bank that issues the Bilt Mastercard, to make sure that you’ll get a digital card number as soon as you’re approved for the card. So, you won’t miss out on any bonus points if you apply and are approved today.

December 1st would normally be “Rent Day”, something Bilt started recently to reward cardholders.  They also had a really awesome Black Friday promotion last year, but this year’s promotion puts that to shame.  You have a whole week to earn bonus points.

Why You Shouldn’t Pass On This Promotion

Bilt Rewards has some of my favorite programs as 1:1 transfer partners, including:

  • American Airlines AAdvantage
  • Air Canada Aeroplan
  • Air France/KLM Flying Blue
  • British Airways Executive Club
  • Hawaiian Airlines HawaiianMiles
  • United Airlines MileagePlus
  • Virgin Atlantic Flying Club
  • World of Hyatt
  • IHG Rewards

With so many credit cards today you’re faced with large annual fees that are offset by various discounts and promotions.  However, Bilt won’t cost you a penny to keep in your wallet.

Even 2 points per dollar on every day spend is more lucrative than many other cards out there. The Capital One Venture X card is a card I’ve been keen on lately.  However, even though you can also earn 2 points (Venture miles) per dollar on every day purchases on the Venture X, you can’t transfer those points to American, United or World of Hyatt.  In fact, Bilt Rewards is the only flexible points program that can call American Airlines a transfer partner.

The Final Two Pennies

I think there’s a ton of ongoing value in the Bilt Rewards program.  Even if you’re not sure there’s long-term value for you, this week is a great time to rack up some points.  And, Rent Day comes around every month, giving you another opportunity to earn at these awesome rates.

Bilt may not have been around as long as Chase or AMEX but they have great tech and the backing of Wells Fargo.  There’s more exciting news to come!
