WIN: I’m Giving Away Aeroplan Elite Status

a red card with white text

Maybe you hadn’t heard, but there’s a new loyalty program out there, under a famliar name.  Aeroplan announced their new program late summer with plenty of new details to be excited about.  Air Canada launched the program last week, and members are already signing up for cool new benefits like Family Pooling (one of my favorites).

Air Canada is back on my podcast this week answering your questions about the new Aeroplan.  They also tease us just a little bit with a mini-scoop on a new benefit we might see soon.  It’s something that could work out really well for US residents who want to combine some credit cards. You definitely want to check that part of the show out.

While that’s great, you probably want to know how to win Aeroplan elite status.  I’m giving away an Aeroplan prize pack to one lucky listener of the podcast.  You’ll win a $100 Air Canada gift card and a year of Aeroplan 50K elite status.

That status comes with Star Alliance Gold status, which means lounge access around the world.  And, you’ll also get Maple Leaf Lounge access as well as one of the cool new benefits of the program, a status pass to give away to someone else for an upcoming trip.  There’s other benefits as well, such as some free eUpgrades.  You can read about all the benefits on the Aeroplan website.

And, entering is as easy as scrolling down to the entry form:

Good luck!

  1. I have a feeling that Aeroplan members will decide if they like the changes to the program depending on whether they are able to get the awards THEY want for the “price” that THEY are happy with. It’s a very individual matter. And it’s important that there is some consistency on what is offered in terms of pricing. Of course, it makes sense that when there is a lot of demand or a full flight the price goes up and vice versa. But wild swings within these parameters can turn people off.

  2. With a 70th birthday to celebrate next year and a trip to see the Passion Play as part of the celebration, it would be totally awesome win SA gold status!

  3. it’s been years since I used Aeroplan, or accumulated them, for various reasons. But they were on my mind even before the details of the new program were announced.

  4. The new Aeroplan is much more attractive for families, and given the United devaluation, I will be switching my star alliance crediting north of the boarder…
