Earn 3X Hyatt Points On Las Vegas Stays!
Hyatt is offering a great opportunity right now to earn quadruple points if you’re heading to Las Vegas. They already have a promotion that allows you to earn up to triple points on certain stays. The latest promotion increases that to 3X at MGM properties in Las Vegas.
When I learned about the new promotion, the first question I asked was whether it was stackable with the existing promotion. The answer from Hyatt was an emphatic yes. The Vegas Over-the-top promotion doesn’t have a restriction related to earning bonus points on your first stay. Because of that, there are a few different formulas for how you’ll earn points:
First Stay at MGM Property
- Member earns standard 5 Base Points per $1 spent
- Member earns 5 Bonus Points per $1 spent for the MGM Over-the-top Promotion
Second, Third, Fourth, etc. Stay at MGM Property
- Member earns standard 5 Base Points per $1 spent
- Member earns 5 Bonus Points per $1 spent for the MGM Over-the-top Promotion
- Member earns extra 5 Bonus Points per $1 spent for the World of Hyatt Global Promotion
It’s important to note that this does not include the Hyatt hotels in Las Vegas, just the MGM properties part of the Hyatt partnership. I have reviews on some of these properties (linked below). I’ll be updating all of these in the near future. Here are the eligible properties:
- ARIA Resort and Casino
- Bellagio Las Vegas
- Delano Las Vegas at Mandalay Bay
- Excalibur Hotel and Casino
- Luxor Hotel and Casino
- Mandalay Bay
- MGM Grand Hotel and Casino
- New York New York Hotel and Casino
- Park MGM Las Vegas
- The Signature at MGM Grand
- The Mirage Hotel and Casino
- Vdara Hotel and Spa
The Final Two Pennies
You need to register for the promotion. You’ll want to do that now even if you don’t have plans today to head to Vegas. It’s free to register and only takes a few seconds. You’ll kick yourself later if plans change and you forget to register.
The promotion runs a bit longer than the systemwide promo, through December 28th 2019. Vegas may not be on everyone’s radar. If it is, you’re unlikely to get anywhere close to 3X points at another chain. Now, if only they would get rid of those Vegas resort fees….
