Unless you’ve been living under a rock you know our family loves pretty much all things Disney.  We’ve done our fair share of Disney World VIP tours, though when the pricing was much cheaper.  A VIP tour is the ultimate way to experience a Disney theme park.  Bypass all the lines, get the best seats for parades and shows.  It makes a Disney vacation a breeze.  And, now you’ve got an opportunity to cash in Hilton Honors points to enjoy that experience.

Thanks to Cliff Y for sending this one along.  You’ll need a bunch of Hilton Honors points to be lucky enough to pull this one off.

Hilton Honors is auctioning off one Disneyland VIP Package which includes:

  • 2 nights at Hilton Anaheim for up to 4 guests, including continental breakfast and free parking.
  • A private, customizable VIP tour at Disneyland
  • Unlimited PhotoPass downloads

How Much Is The Hilton Disneyland VIP Package Worth?

Let’s break down the value of this package:

2 nights at Hilton Anaheim:

Checking Hilton.com this property seems to be readily available on a variety of nights for 50,000 points per night.  So, the room is worth 100,000 points.

Disneyland Park Tickets:

The auction doesn’t specifically say park tickets are included.  And, VIP tours don’t include park tickets if you purchase a tour.   A single-day park hopper ticket for a “regular” day is $179 for adults, $172 for kids.  Let’s call that $700.  The Points Guy says a Hilton Honors point is worth .6 cents, so that’s about 116,000 points.

Disneyland VIP Tour:

Tour prices range from $425 per hour to $600, depending on the season.  The auction doesn’t state how many hours are included.  The typical minimum length tour is 7 hours.  If we use that number as a guide and estimate $500 per hour, we’re at $3,500 for the VIP tour.  That translates to about 583,000 Hilton Honors points.

The Final Two Pennies

The auction still has 20 days to go, so the price is going to go much higher than it is today.  It’s important to note that you need to use this package by December 14, 2019.  That’s not a ton of time.  Also, the package doesn’t include airfare.  I’ll try to confirm some more details with the Hilton PR folks on this and loop back with everyone.  Disney VIP tours really are absolutely incredible, though they usually put a hurt on your wallet.  If you’ve been saving up Hilton Honors points and you’re a Disney fanatic, this could end up being a solid deal!
