Yeah, can’t really say I’d try this one as a parent.  Thanks to David H for sending this along from my home airport of Washington-Dulles

I mean, wow. Just wow.  Look, our kids have had some legendary tantrums and we’ve had to throw them over our shoulder a time or two to get out of a store.  But, that kid looks older than our kids were at the age where they had such tantrums.

Not a whole lot more to say on this one.

  1. So, what’s the big deal? Kid isn’t getting hurt. The video about some kid writing on seats in crayon is a parenting fail.

  2. she doesn’t seem to be protesting at all. maybe she wanted to be pulled along for a joy ride. it may not be what you think. just saying …

    1. Christ, I get your point but can’t say I agree. If just for the metal floor transitions with screws in them, that’s not the safest practice in the world. And, I just don’t think it sends the right message to our kids.

  3. I do think it is best to respect the privacy of children. To end the post with ‘Did you enjoy this post?’ and a request to share is not nice.

  4. Honestly, I think more context is needed here. What preceded this, does the child have a disability of some sort (such as autism), etc… Also, I think this dad was in a losing situation no matter what. If his kid had a big public meltdown, then he would have had people judging for that. No matter which way he went, people judged. And do judge.

  5. I agree with Robbo. We see a few seconds of a family drama. It’s not for anyone else to judge. The kid wasn’t protesting, we don’t know what happened. We should mind our own business.
