30%+ Amazon Kindle And Kindle Unlimited Discounts Today!

a couple of electronic devices

Amazon is celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Kindle with some special deals today:

$30 off the purchase of a new Kindle

This one seems to be for all Kindle devices, though not specifically Kindle Fire (more on that deal shortly).  A friend of mine just got me a Kindle Paperwhite as a gift that I’ve begun testing.  So, I’m starting to become more aware of the various “original” Kindle devices.  I’m not positive that these are the lowest prices of the year.  I suspect that they may have been slightly lower on Prime Day.

Amazon Fire 7 Kids Edition For $75 (When You Buy 2)

I actually bought a couple of these when they were on sale during Prime Day.  My kids are testing them for a future blog post.  They come with a year of “FreeTime Unlimited” which is essentially free games, movies and books for kids from the Amazon digital store.  It also comes with a 2-year guarantee if your kids manage to find a way to break it.  I paid $69.99 during Prime Day, so this isn’t the lowest price of the year.  But, it is a pretty hefty discount off the regular price.

Up to 40% off Kindle Unlimited Subscriptions

As I said above, I’m starting to fiddle around in the regular Kindle world.  I kinda wish this sale was happening in a few months when I really understood how much I might utilize it.  Still, a 40% discount for avid reader is pretty sweet.

But, Wait.  There’s More!

No, I’m not selling a set of Ginsu steak knives.  It took me a while to get this post done with a bunch of distractions this morning.  While I finished it off, I noticed Charlie at Running With Miles has some additional Kindle deals listed on his site.  There’s a free $5 offer that I don’t appear to be targeted for.  Hopefully, you can score that one.

Happy shopping!
