Price Drop! Cheap Fares To New Zealand!

It isn’t often we see cheap prices to New Zealand come down the pike.  There aren’t a lot of airlines that fly to and from New Zealand.  That helps keep prices high.

Right now there are $700 round-trip fares available.  That’s easily a few hundred dollars cheaper than I normally see.  Keri at Heels First Travel has the details.

Essentially, you’ll be able to find these fares for travel through June of next year to Auckland.  Keep in mind that the warm season in New Zealand is effectively the opposite of the United States.  So, a trip to New Zealand in November or December will find warm weather.

These flights are on American Airlines.  That means if you have elite status or a credit card with American, you should be able to carry-on and check a bag.

ETA: Thanks to Steve A in the comments for correcting me.  AA will allow you free checked bags even without elite status or credit cards on trips to New Zealand.  Thanks, Steve!

I don’t suspect these cheap flights to New Zealand will last long.  Fares are normally $1,000 or more round-trip.  If you’re thinking about a trip, it may make sense to book the flights now and think about it overnight.  Keep in mind that any flight departing or arriving the United States comes with the ability to cancel for up to 24 hours after purchase.
