Tomorrow Is National Doughnut (Donut?) Day!
No matter how you spell it, tomorrow is a great day for a donut addict like myself. National Doughnut Day is June 2nd and many donut shops are offering a free donut tomorrow in celebration.
William over at Doctor of Credit has already started compiling a list of places where you can get a free donut.
In honor of the celebration, I’ll be rolling out a donut ranking scale on my blog shortly. 18 months ago, when I started traveling to all kinds of places I’d never been before, I made it a point to taste a donut in each town. Since then (and for the first time in my life), people don’t always refer to me as “Pizzaman”. Now, I’m also “The Donut Guy”. I figured I might as well own it, so I’ve put together a handful of donut logos for a ranking system. Denny and Josh at House of Miles will be using their voodoo witchcraft over the next few weeks to make that into a ranking system for future donut write-ups. For now, here’s a few I’ve written about so far:
