Cheap Flights to Japan!
Cheap flights to Europe has been the popular occurrence over the past 6 months. A flood of low-cost carrier expansion has caused many airlines to match those bargain basement prices. There haven’t been nearly as many great deals to Asia.
The Flight Deal is reporting on a price drop that is now as low as $516 for round-trip flights to Tokyo’s Haneda airport. The fares are available at a variety of different times of year, including August and most of November through next April.
These fares are on Air Canada, connecting through Toronto. They appear to be available from both Newark and Washington, Dulles. The departure time for the Toronto-Tokyo flight is mid-afternoon. That’s not great, but better than some of the other crazy middle of the night departures to Asia.
It’s also worth noting that these flights are to Haneda, the airport that’s much closer to downtown Tokyo than Narita.
As a reminder, any flight that originates from or returns to the US comes with a 24-hour guarantee. Depending on the airline, you can either put the fare on hold for 24 hours or request a refund within 24 hours. In the case of Air Canada, it’s the ability to request a refund within 24 hours. If you’re thinking about booking one of these fares, your best bet is to grab it now and think about it overnight. Just make sure you cancel within 24 hours if you choose not to go.
Happy Hunting!
