Fare Sale! Fly To Paris For Less Than $400 And Alaska For $300
Two great trips to two very different places right now:
Paris is on sale for under $400, on a 787 no less!
The flights are on Air Europa. I don’t have any experience flying Air Europa, nor did I immediately find a current review from a blogger I’m familiar with. I did find a review of their European business class product that’s not too old. One Mile at a Time is a reputable source of information. That review is on a 737, whereas it appears Air Europe flies a Boeing 787 from Miami to Madrid.
I love flying the 787 and have enjoyed it a dozen times or so, including back from Europe on our family vacation and on the inaugural flight from Boston to Tokyo. I would imagine this is a fairly reasonable way to get to Europe.
$300 fares to Alaska are pretty darn good as well. It’s not peak season up there right now, though as you get into April you’re getting pretty close. As The Flight Deal says, it’s a great chance to go see the Northern Lights.
The Final Two Pennies
Don’t think of a Miami to Paris fare sale as “Miami to Paris”. Think of it as “US to Europe” and use cheap flights or miles and points to cover that last leg to your dream destination. Similarly, when fares are this cheap, leverage your points to save on hotel rooms to give yourself a truly affordable trip to Europe.
Paris is centrally located. In shorter than a 3-hour flight gets you to all kinds of interesting places, like Rome, London, Greece, Germany, Amsterdam and a whole lot more great cities.
