American Airlines Now Displaying One Year Of Account Activity
Shockingly, I’m running behind summarizing my 2016 year in travel. There were a ton of new cities I visited (or dots and lines, as the cool kids say).
I knew I could get a year’s worth of history off the United website to log into my flight tracking app. But, my recollection was that American only displays a handful of recent months on their website. I knew they offered a service where I could have them send me a full-year report (they’ll go back 5 years, IIRC). I called yesterday to request the report.
The agent I spoke with told me that as of January 1, 2017, the website would now show me a full year of activity. Sure enough, it’s there. It’s not blatantly obvious, since the main AAdvantage account page still shows a drop-down menu of a few recent months.
But, about 1/3 of the way down the page you’ll see a hyperlink labeled “Your Activity”
Once you click on that link you’ll see an interface where you can select a date range starting with the first day of 2016.
The Final Two Pennies
Nothing earth-shattering here. But, it is nice to have a full year of history online. Especially if you track your flights and slack off getting around to it like me.
