Free Donut When You Vote Today. My Kind Of Motivation!
Mmmmm, Donuts. I’m just getting under way on my post series of the best donuts across America, but today is a vote for democracy, er cholesterol-ocracy, um sugar politics. Look, you can get a free donut when you vote today. Which you were going to do anyway, right? Doctor of Credit has the sweet scoop:
Krispy Kreme is giving away a free donut to everyone who comes into one of their stores and shows off their “I Voted” sticker. For mass market donuts, I’m more of a fan of Dunkin than Krispy Kreme. I almost find Krispy Kreme a bit too sweet (heresy, I know). But, I’m making an exception and adding my official recommendation to go grab a donut after you vote. If it doesn’t make our country better, it’ll at least give you a 15-minute sugar high.
Not A Nationwide Donut Democracy?
Oddly, there are quite a few Krispy Kreme stores not participating. I guess they don’t believe in democracy donuts:
