Plenty of things we talk about in the world of miles and points are, ahem, dry.  Mileage geeks read down to the nitty-gritty of the Ts & Cs of the various programs, trying to interpret a spare comma here or the meaning of “standard” in a particular sentence.

That’s why when something truly funny comes along, it sticks in my mind for a while.

I had occasion to remember the hilarious bit View From The Wing writer Gary Leff did on Colbert a few years ago and laugh a bit about it a couple of days ago.

I can’t find a YouTube clip of it, but even if you watched Gary mock a cellist on Stephen Colbert a few years ago about his improper relationship with his, ahem, instrument, it’s worth watching again.
