Cheap Flights To Brazil, A Free Night At Disney World And A Big Discount On Costco Membership!
I’m finishing up a trip to Kelowna, BC and I’ll be headed home shortly. Pretty cool place, though I’d prefer to see it during the summer. Here’s the travel news you’ll want to read about today:
Cheap Flight Of The Day: Brazil! Rio and Sao Paulo are on sale from a bunch of cities. American Airlines has LAX and DC from $477. From Chicago for $539. From Portland, Nashville, Omaha, Oklahoma City for $563.
You can stay in the Presidential Suite of the Park Hyatt Dubai for less than a regular room!
Delta CEO Richard Anderson is retiring. While many of us frequent travel geeks hate how the airline runs their loyalty program, it’s hard to argue with the success that Delta has had under Anderson.
SPG and Marriott realize they have a problem merging the two loyalty programs. They’re openly saying they haven’t figured out how to conquer it just yet. As I get ready to finish up lifetime Platinum status with SPG, comments like those make me feel like a cat in a room full of rocking chairs.
Four Seasons Punta Mita for $333 a night. That’s a pretty screaming deal for a Four Seasons AND for Punta Mita. Mind you, it’s not a “cheap” trip. But, I think that’s a fabulous deal for an upscale property in a beautiful region. I haven’t been to the area but it’s been on my list for a while.
A big discount on Costco membership!
5,000 point stackable bonus for staying at two different Club Carlson brands.
Spirit Airlines is keeping their carry-on bag sizing allowance the same (for now).
