Discounts On Starbucks, JetBlue, Hyatt and SPG
Lots of great discounts to take advantage of right now. Let’s get right into it:
Discounted Starbucks gift card on Groupon today. Probably won’t last long!
JetBlue has a 2-day 20% off sale on a whole ton of dates and not a lot of blackouts. If you’re thinking about travel on JetBlue between now and mid-February, think about booking it now.
Hyatt gift cards 15.5% discount, with a bit of elbow grease.
Starwood Preferred Guest is having a pretty cool Cyber Monday sale.
American Airlines has added the ability to book some standby options online. I think this is wicked cool. American has both a confirmed standby and “regular” standby policy. Depending on your elite level, you can access confirmed standby options for free (a new benefit coming up next year for EXP). For now, you pay $75 to confirm a standby option on an earlier flight.
Previously, you needed to call an agent to figure out if there was inventory for a confirmed standby option. That’s not the most inconvenient thing in the world. But in the life of a business traveler, especially one like me who changes flights often, being able to check on the fly while I’m sitting in a meeting is a big plus.
