No Wimping Out On The ALS #IceBucketChallenge!
I was nominated a couple of days ago by Randy Petersen to take the popular ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. For those newsletter subscribers reading this, you’ll need to click through to see the embedded videos.
I just had surgery and needed to get something to protect it from getting wet (doctor’s orders!), and since I’m one-handed, needed to enlist the help of my kids to complete the challenge!
I’ll be making a $100 donation and I nominated:
Jeff Zidell, VP of Hyatt Gold Passport
To each of you, don’t sissy out like Gary on View From The Wing.

Weak! You need to hit it stronger than that for charity.
Randy also challenged The Frugal Travel Guy, who came through in Alaska!

Still waiting for Lucky, from One Mile at a Time and Brian, The Points Guy to accept Randy’s challenge.
Ed,
I accept your challenge!

Safe travels,

Jeff, you’re awesome as always! Thanks for keeping it going.
That’s pretty awesome to both of you.
What I was puzzled about was … Did randy pour water/ice in the hallway of wherever indoor venue he was at? That was not cool in my book. These should be done outdoors…it was kind of a mess on the carpeting. Not cool at all.
I’m guessing he dried it up, just for visual effect. It was a bit cold but my kids had fun helping me support a great cause!
