Cancer Winning. Again.

We received some very disheartening news about my aunt today.  Unless there’s a miraculous change in her condition, we’re going to lose this battle against cancer.

I can’t describe the anger and sorrow I feel, so I won’t even try.  Cancer keeps striking at the heart of our family.  And, while our family is still strong, we’re not winning this battle.

Even worse, I can’t tell if we’re winning the war.

My goal in life is to fill my family’s passports with stamps, creating buckets of memories along the way. You’ll find me writing about realistic ways for normal people to travel the world, whether you’re on a budget or enjoy luxury. I also enjoy taking us on the occasional detour to explore the inner workings of the travel industry.
