What’s On My iPad?

A quick look at what’s populating (and polluting) my iPad:

Books:

Aftershock, by Robert and David Wiedemer, and Cindy Spitzer
This book was suggested by the owner of my company.  The authors wrote a book that predicted a number of occurrences in the major market crash and recession in 2008 and 2009.  This book is their prediction on what will happen next.  While some of their assertions so far make sense, the triple-digit inflation and global warming they predict seem a bit far-fetched.  I’m only about a 3rd of the way through, so there may be more concrete confirmation of these assertions later in the book.

New Music:

California Gurls(featuring Snoop Dogg), Katy Perry
This song is pretty popular right now, and I jumped on the bandwagon.  The Snoop Dog vignettes make it an interesting, simple song.

Kings and Queens, 30 Seconds to Mars
I heard this song on a Tour de France broadcast.  The producers used this as an intro song to one of the most challenging Pyrenees mountain stages, the ride of the Col du Madelaine.  I like this song mostly for it’s instrumental features, as I don’t recall finding the lyrics all that memorable.

Games:

Flight Control HD, an awesome HD revision of my favorite iPod game.
