2,000 Free Southwest Rapid Rewards Points For Referrals, 250 Free For New Sign-Ups

Southwest Airlines is offering 500 Rapid Rewards points for each new member you refer, up to a maximum of 2,000 points.

And, if you’re a new member of the program who’s referred, you’ll get 250 points to get started.  Not a ton of points either way, but I’m always an advocate of grabbing the low hanging fruit.  If you use Southwest for reward travel, this is essentially free money since they’re a revenue-based earn and burn program.

This looks targeted, but all 4 accounts in our household appear eligible, so may be a pretty wide target audience.

I’d never turn down 2,000 free points, so if you’re not a member of Rapid Rewards, leave a comment here and I’ll reach out to refer you.  If you want to try to earn referrals yourself, feel free to leave a comment here as well for people looking to sign up.

  2. I’ll take one of those referrals! I wonder if after I sign up, I’ll get an email to refer my friends (husband). If not, I’ll be back for another referral! I knew there was a reason I was waiting to sign up for Rapid Rewards!

      1. Ha ha! Actually, I’ve been using CheckPoints, which has SWRR as a reward. I have enough for 1000 points, so I’m anxious to redeem them!

    I clicked through, entered 4 names, etc. and sent it off. Afterward I realized there was no connection to my account in the form….so hope you get the credit if my family decides to enroll.
