My Favorite Cyber Monday Deals!

This list will continue to be updated throughout Cyber Monday and Travel Tuesday.

Updated: Added Savewise (think Cashback Monitor replacement) Cyber Monday Offer

Before we get started on deals, a quick word on Cyber Monday.  There are generally two camps of people on Black Friday/Cyber Monday.  The “FOMO crowd” buys any “sale” item they hear about from friends or social media ads without doing any research on prices.  The “Curmudgeon Crowd” believes Black Friday and Cyber Monday are rubbish and there are no good deals to be found.

Neither of these groups is correct.  There are plenty of deals out there, and plenty of rubbish as well.  Be smart, use tools like CamelCamelCamel to verify how low a price really is.  Use a shopping portal like Rakuten to earn maximum cash back.  Another new tool, Savewise, can help verify you’ve got the best deal offered today.

Before we get into sales on my favorite gear, there are two travel deals I wanted to let you know about.  Thrifty Traveler, my favorite deal alert service, is offering fans of my podcast a 60% discount on a new subscription.  This deal runs through Travel Tuesday and is the lowest price I’ve seen for their premium deal alert service. They also have a great hotel deal service add-on you should consider.  While Thrifty Traveler has advertised on our podcast in the past, I don’t earn any commission if you sign-up.  I just think it’s the best current deal alert service out there.

I’m also a big fan of Points Path, who is also running a Cyber Monday deal on their new paid service.  It’s their first paid offering for a recurring service.  Points Path is a new tool that helps answer the most frequent question I get, namely when you should use your points or pay cash for an airline ticket.  They have a bunch of new features, and a 25% discount on annual memberships right now.  Side note: I am an investor in Points Path.

It’s the craziest time of year for shopping.  I’ve been keeping an eye on prices since earlier this year on some key items that we want to buy both for gifts and to replace items in our home.  After scouring the Amazon Cyber Monday deals, I compiled this list of items that are priced at a deal compared to the rest of the year.

We earn commission if you buy anything from our links and it doesn’t cost you anything extra.  Pizza in Motion has always been free to all readers and we appreciate your support to help us buy our gear for our next trip!  Don’t forget to check out my wife’s favorite exercise gear, especially if you’re healthier than me (pretty low bar to clear).

Anker Soundcore Sleep Buds (20% Off For Cyber Monday)

I bought these as part of their Kickstarter campaign earlier this year and didn’t realize they had released them for wider distribution.  Both my wife and I snore.  Technology like this makes it possible for us to peacefully sleep in the same bed.  I’ve been a big Anker fan for many years and this is another product of theirs that didn’t disappoint.  I also tested the Ozlo sleep buds, but had a number of technical issues.

The Soundcore sleep buds allow you to pick from a number of pre-recorded background noise options or customize a pattern that works for you.  This feature came in quite handy in finding the perfect noise blend to tune out my wife’s snoring.  Another interesting feature is that the buds can tell how restless your sleep was, how many times you turned over, etc.  While I do like the Oura ring, these sleep buds provide a decent amount of sleep data as well.

Anker Gear On Sale For Cyber Monday

Anker is my go-to for all things power.  I love their cables, chargers, batteries, you name it.  I even love their projectors. Great prices for great gear.  Here’s a list of items I’d consider on Cyber Monday:

International Travel Adapters On Sale

Ceptics is the name I trust for international travel adapters.  You don’t want to just buy the cheapest travel adapter out there for international travel, because they can fry your electronics.  Nothing like saving $10 on a charger to ruin a $4,000 laptop.  There are two Ceptics items I recommend:

Ceptics Universal Travel Adapter Kit (15% off on Cyber Monday)

This is a bigger kit that allows you to plug in your whole family’s devices.  It has two standard outlets, 2 USB-A outlets and a USB-C charging cord.  It comes with attachments for virtually everywhere you need to travel.  I always travel with this bigger kit to have the flexibility to charge whatever I need.

Ceptics Compact International Travel Power Adapter (21% off for Cyber Monday)

If you want something more compact to travel with, this adapter is the right choice.  It offers surge protection and a variety of plug options for international travel.  It has a lower wattage max than the bigger unit above, but can charge a laptop and a phone at the same time without an issue.  While it’s advertised as being able to charge four devices at once, you may struggle to get that much throughput depending on what you’re trying to charge.

My FAVORITE compact charger.  You can charge a laptop, tablet and phone at the same time.  Fits in the palm of your hand and the prongs fold in to be even more compact.

Best small charger for your phone!

I REALLY WISH this charger didn’t have such a heavy wall adapter.  The four onboard USB-C outlets are so clutch for me.  However, from a travel perspective, the fact that the transformer is built into the wall outlet makes it tough to travel with.  Otherwise, this is my absolutely favorite charger to charge a ton of gear at once.  And, a really great price today.

DJI Mini 3 Drone Starter Pack

I’ve just started experimenting with this drone and absolutely love it!

Savewise Cyber Monday Offer

For anyone that’s used Cashback Monitor, think of Savewise as the 2025 version of that product.  It’s a new tool that has a number of promising features.  I’ve met with their founder and I’m excited with what he has on the drawing board.  Their Cyber Monday promo is 20% off any of their paid plans and the code is good through the end of Tuesday, December 3rd.
